Things Made
A fantastic project catalog, and even more fantastic style of presentation. So much more satisfying than stilted two-up, anti-illustration research papers you find in traditional, more conservative and academic settings. The irony here — maybe not — is that the work represented here and elsewhere, which might be categorized as art-technology-research, is just as impactful and insightful as big-budget kinds of research projects, and probably way more fun to experience and create.
The spicy innovation lab at Kitchen Budapest, opened in June 2007, is a new media lab for young researchers who are interested in the convergence of mobile communication, online communities and urban space and are passionate about creating experimental projects in cross-disciplinary teams.
